Jurnal Penelitian Kebijakan Pendidikan is a peer-reviewed journal published by Pusat Standar dan Kebijakan Pendidikan (PSKP, d/h Puslitjak) Badan Standar, Kurikulum, dan Asesmen Pendidikan, Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Center of Education Standard and Policy, Board of Education Standard, Curriculum, and Assessment, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of Republic of Indonesia).
Published twice a year in August and December. This journal publishes research and study in the field of education policy, such as, education management, educational evaluation and assessment, curriculum, education technology, and educational innovations.
The first edition was published in 2007 under the name of Jurnal Penelitian Kebijakan Pendidikan with ISSN number 0216-2792. In 2016, Jurnal Penelitian Kebijakan Pendidikan changed its frequency of publication from thrice a year to twice a year.
Jurnal Penelitian Kebijakan Pendidikan with ISSN 0216-2792 (printed) and e-ISSN 2654-427X (online) has been accredited (SINTA 5) by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of Republic of Indonesia decision Number 85/M/KPT/2020 which is valid for five years since 1 April 2020.

The publication of this edition was delayed due to the OJS upgrading process and a hacking incident. As a result, Jurnal Penelitian Kebijakan Pendidikan was unable to run the OJS from August to October 2023. In this edition, we start accepting and publishing manuscripts in English besides the ones in Bahasa. We also made some changes to the journal cover to match the publisher’s brand.
