The text in a table or graph follows the language used in the manuscript. The table is not in the form of a picture to facilitate editing. The table does not use column (vertical) lines, and the row (horizontal) lines are used only for the head and tail of the table. The table description narrative should not only repeat the information in the table but should be accompanied by an analysis.
The manuscript has not yet been published or processed in other media and does not contain plagiarism. The editorial team will check for plagiarism using Turnitin software with an accepted similarity index score of no more than 20%.
B. OUTLINE
The manuscript should consist of these 5 components: (i) title, (ii) author(s) name(s), (iii) abstract and keywords, (iv) content, and (v) references.
1. Title
The title expresses article contents, no longer than fourteen words, clear, straightforward, informative, and appealing. The title does not start with the words research, study, analysis, or development. Title then followed by author(s) full name(s), institution/affiliation, and email address (1 (one) active email address for correspondence). When there are more than 1 author, the main author's name is written first.
2. Abstract and Keywords
The abstract contains the objectives of the study/research/development/meta-analysis, the way it is conducted including the methods, the results of the study/research/development/meta-analysis, and conclusions. The abstract also contains the novelty of the studies/research/development/meta-analysis and recommendations for education policy. Written in continuous sentences to form a paragraph (not a mathematical equation or formula), without subheadings, without footnotes, without bibliography, and without abbreviations. The abstract’s length ranges between 150–200 words (use 1.0 spacing and font size 11).
Keywords consist of 4-5 words or phrases sorted based on their relevance to the title of the manuscript and its content, could be one word or multiple-word phrase, and make for an easier search for the manuscript’s topic. Each keyword is separated by a semicolon, is written in lowercase letters, and does not contain abbreviations.
3. Content
This journal prioritizes research or development articles that are oriented towards the formulation of education policies, or research that analyzes or evaluates the impact of established education policies.
a. Introduction
The introduction section contains background, research gap, problem statement, research goal(s) and objective(s), and results to achieve. This section also includes a literature review of relevant theories and prior research, and concluded with a research framework. The length of the section is about 25 percent of the overall length of the manuscript.
b. Research Method
This section explains the methods used in the research/study. It is suggested that this section begins with the research approach, the variables used and the data needed, the data sources and the selection methods, the data collecting and analysis method, and research limitations. The length of the section is 10 percent of the manuscript's overall length.
c. Result and Discussion
Contains research findings derived from the research objectives and analysis of these findings. Research findings are discussed, analyzed, elaborated, and interpreted in the direction of the research objectives.
If the research has more than one objective, the results should be presented in consistency with the research questions and objectives. This section is about 50 percent of the overall length of the manuscript.
d. Conclusion and Policy Recommendation
The conclusion is not a summary of the research results. This section summarizes the answers to each research objective. It is formulated based on the interpretation and analysis of results and discussion in the previous section. The conclusion needs to be in line with the research problems and objectives.
Policy recommendations or options are made based on the research findings and conclusions addressed to educational policymakers.
The conclusions and policy recommendations are in the form of narratives in paragraphs, not in the form of points or numbering. The length of this section is about 15 percent of the whole manuscript.
e. Acknowledgement
The Acknowledgment section is optional. However, manuscripts based on research funded or sponsored by certain parties must include an acknowledgment containing information on the sponsor who funded it and a thank you to the sponsor.
4. Reference List
The Reference List is compiled using the international standard American Psychological Association (APA) Style 6th Edition with the help of the Mendeley Application.
There should be at least 15 references with 80% references from primary sources, which are articles published in scientific journals/magazines, dissertations, and theses, and 20% references from other sources.
The more up-to-date the cited references are, the better. This journal requires that the references consist of at least 80% of publications from the last 10 years, and another 20% could be older publications including classic (old) reference literature which is used as material for historical studies.
